1953  Rhubarb Crisp  1 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup melted butter or oleo
3/4 cup oatmeal
1 tea. cinnamon
4 cup chopped rhubarb  Place half of topping in a 9" pan.
Cover with the rhubarb.
Sauce:
 1 cup sugar
 2 tabl. cornstarch
 1 cup  water
 1 tea. vanilla
Combine & cook until thick. pour over rhubarb.
Top with remaining crumb topping.
Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
